Ceramic coating is a long term nanoscopic exterior paint treatment and protectant that is applied in a liquid, then curing to form a hard layer on top of the paint. Essentially, it's the candy shell that protects the paint giving it a sacrificial layer. It gives the vehicle extreme hydrophobic (water repelling) properties, causing any water to bead and run off, protecting you cars paint from contaminants usually found in water . Included in the treatment, and a must before coating, is paint correction and polishing. It brings the paint to a beautifully smooth shiny appearance, which will be amplified by the ceramic coating as well as giving it the ideal surface for the coating adhere to.
